Blogging to the Bank 3.0 Do Not Purchase Here's Why

Summary:

I have set up multiple blogs on Blogger.com. The one thing I did not like was the templates. I could not get the look I wanted for my blog. Then I came across Blogging to the Bank 3.0 by Rob Benwell. The sales pitch is that it will show you how to set up a blog. It would also show you how to customize it, optimize it for traffic and if you wanted to make money it would also show how to do that. Having some experience albeit not much I felt that this was something I wanted to look into more. I surfed the net for information on the product and decided to give it a shot. I realized rather quickly I should not have wasted my money.

The main problem I have with the product is that it is more of bait and switch to me. In my opinion Rob is using this eBook to get customers to sign up with his hosting company. This is pretty clever if you ask me. Why get a one time $37 by trying to sell old rehashed information you already sold in Blogging to the bank 2.0, when you can get a customer to sign up for a service that you will charge them for on a monthly basis, hopefully for years to come. One of the steps in setting up the blog is getting your own domain name and hosting account. Guess who owns the hosting company he recommends....that's right Rob Benwell.

This eBook does give you somewhat detailed instructions on how to get started. However, unless you have some beginner experience in setting up a blog and using html you will be disappointed. Rob claims it is for beginners, and it is. It is just not for the absolute beginner. If you want a blog that looks different from most blogs you will have problems. If you don't know what ftp is, you will have problems. If you have never heard of html you will have problems, even if you use the template he includes. I say this because the instructions in the ebook are not detailed enough to guide you through the process. For example the steps on customizing your blog leaves out small bits of key information you could use to get this done. Unless you had some prior experience it will be hard to get passed this step and you will have a basic looking Word Press blog if you continue. This is the main reason not to buy this product. You can go to Word Press and get a blog that will look like that for free.

After that there is basic information on how to optimize and monetize your blog that can be found for free all over the web. Unless your lazy and don't want to search

Bottom Line:
If you really want to learn how to set up a blog to make money or just to blog you can get all the information you need by typing how to set up a blog into a web search bar. I would recommend this route. You could also get started at Blogger.com is very simple to use and you can use it to get your feet wet.

There is a lot of very useful information in this ebook just don't pay for it because all the information it contains is out there on the web for free, unless your lazy and don't want to do any research. If this is the case blogging may not be for you anyway
