Holding Raffles To Make Money And Make Sales

Here is an idea that I have seen before. I am surprised I do not see more stories about this as a creative way to sell something. The idea is basically setting up a raffle to raffle of a house for example, that you can't get sold. If you want to sell your house for 200k you could sell 5000 tickets for $100.00 I sure with some advertising you could sell that many tickets that's $500,000.00. you would have spending cash left over. The reason I am posting this is because I just read a story of a person who did it and got 1.2 mil for here house. Click here to read the story. She had it valued at 1 mil.

Now I know this took place in Austria but I'm sure it has happened here in the states. In these times you have to get really creative to make it.
